Holiday Storm

Its the storm of the week here in ottawa and I saw Distaster Movie and the Mummy with Jet Lee last night and they must be #1 #2 the worst movies of the year.

First Snow Fall in Ottawa 08/09

Here it is October 28 and the first snow flake has fallen.  Lots of them actually, not as bad as most of the storms last season but the snow is blowing sideways. It's still warm outside so the ground is very slushy and we are glad we didn't have to drive anywhere today.

Dark Knight

Still haven't had a chance to see dark knight but have seen wanted and Meet Dave andf they are both very enjoyable to watch.



But I had to go to Hull and see the Red Bull Flugtag and it was so hot and the view was not very good from where we were standing.

Elevators

So I have a quick thing to say about elevators. There should be a rule, if you are waiting for an elevator YOU SHOULD wait for the people already in it to exit FIRST not try and squeeze your way in while there are leaving.

I have been in so many elevators lately because of my job and I've seen it a hundred times. The elevator opens, you try to step off and then some idiot is pushing against you getting on. Wait just wait till we are free of the doors and then go. The doors don't close that fast!!!

The Big Juicy

So the big snow storm hit the weekend and watching everyone in the parking lot of my apartment building get stuck was better than TV.

LG Chocolate

I have a LG Chocolate and this thing looks nice but is an aweful extra phone. I can't even put MP3's as ringtones or download my pics from my phone. It sucks and so is bell for selling it to me.

Sens trade

Well it happened the Sens have finally made a trade to get better. Gone are eves and Corvo but in are Commodore and Stillman. Commodore was traded before for not being a top line defense player and Stillman was traded before for being washed up. Lets hope they decide to play like their former selves this year. The main reason for the trade is to open allot of cap space with Corvo's contract gone off the payroll.

NBA All-star Weekend

i grew up watching the dunk contest and this was awesome. The superman and behind the backboard were the winners. The cupcake was great but too early in the competition and he sucked there after. Besides it was a cupcake not a cake.

Guitar Hero on New Years Day

News Years Day we had our guitar hero play till you can no more. We couldn't for very long.

Moving

In the process of moving and will try to get this thing updated.

And Hitman was a good movie.

Rock Band

So my brother got Rock Band for Xbox 360 this Christmas. The songs in this game are great, not too many hard parts but most of them I knew or my friends heard before. The guitar is bigger than the GH guitars and feels a little more real, gone is the clicking of the strum bar, added is extra buttons on the lower neck. Singing is fun and if you've played any singstar type game than it's pretty much the same. The drums are the new add on. They are soo much fun to play, and hard. The only big downer is that they are loud. The tapping of the drums will drown out the loud music easily and you will fine your self tapping to the beat of the sound instead of the beat of the music.


Overall I give it a 7/10
+ cool songs and the drums are fun
- the guitar parts are easier than GH.
